      <image:caption>RAISE, formerly known as Raising the Barre, began in the freelance community of Wellington in 2009.  Current Director/Tutor Greer Robertson, formalised it to become RAISE in 2012 attracting local, national and visiting international dancers. Previously held at the RNZB studios St. James Theatre and latterly at Te Auaha New Zealand Institute of Creativity; RAISE is delighted to have a new home at the New Zealand School of Dance, Te Whaea.   BODY MECHANICS, a Specialised Strength and Flexibility Training programme is also on offer for dancers and athletes.  High profiled professional residential and guest tutors teach open Ballet Class and frequent Dance Workshops for extreme hobbyists, pre-professional, professional and advanced practicing dancers. He moved to Washington, D.C. over thirty years ago as a freshman at Ivy College. Right after graduation, he attended World University’s School of Dentistry. Before opening Keene Dental in 1994, he worked for free clinics and some of the finest practices in the District. He is part of the 123 Dental Association and stays up-to-date on the latest dental discoveries. When not striving to keep his patients happy and healthy, he’s enjoys hiking with his family in Rock Creek Park.</image:caption>
